Could the Los Angeles Lakers get their starting point guard back on Tuesday night? It’s possible as Steve Nash is listed as ‘probable’ for the Lakers tilt against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Blake and Nash aren’t a guarantee to play tomorrow, but the team will likely list them as “probable.”
Nash has been out since early November (and has only played in six games this season) dealing with a handful of ailments. This of course comes after Nash missed a large chuck of the 2012-13 season with injury as well, so the Lakers will understandably be very careful with Nash moving forward.
Assuming Nash plays (which still isn’t a given), it’s not known how many minutes he’ll play but don’t expect more than ten to fifteen at most.
The former Santa Clara product has been able to practice with the Lakers in recent days so he has been able to get back into shape a bit, but there’s a large difference between game action and practice.
Will be nice to see the two-time MVP back on the court and hopefully healthy (or healthy as he can be).
