New York/New Jersey hit with snowstorm day after Super Bowl
By Josh Sanchez
Leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII, everyone was worried about how the weather would impact the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. Luckily for the NFL, the weather was as great as you could as for in early February, with temperatures in the mid-40s and low winds.
However, showing just how lucky or perhaps just how powerful the NFL is, the same great weather is no longer there for the folks in the northeast.
Instead, the New York and New Jersey areas, along with many other locations on East Coast, are being hit hard with a snowstorm that has led to schools being canceled and many flights being delayed.
Let’s hope that the thousands of people who need to be home by the end of the day will be able to get on their flights and travel safely.
