Oklahoma State freshman guard Stevie Clark can’t seem to stay out of the news for negative reasons, and as a result, he’s been dismissed from the Cowboys basketball program as of Monday afternoon.
Can confirm: Freshman Stevie Clark has been dismissed from the #okstate basketball team after his second arrest this year.

Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World reports (and she has later been corroborated by multiple outlets) that Travis Ford chose to dismiss Clark after yet another arrest over the weekend. It has surfaced that Clark was allegedly urinating out of a moving vehicle (you can’t make this stuff up), and when you combine that with marijuana issues that have caused him to miss additional time already this season, it was the nightmare recipe for his stay in Stillwater.
In all honesty, this was the move that Ford had to make at this stage, as nothing less than a year-long suspension would have sufficed, and he is clearly a troubled young man who can’t get out of his own way right now. Clark was averaging 16 minutes a game during his freshman campaign, but his playing time has steadily diminished in recent weeks, and fortunately for OSU, he isn’t the vital piece to their winning formula.
