The Seattle Seahawks had one of the most dominant performances that we have ever seen in Super Bowl history, as they went on to rout the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII at MetLife Stadium by a score of 43-8.

After giving up an early safety, the Broncos offense looked shaky and without confidence, while the Seattle defense continued to play with the same swagger they have had all year.

When the game was all wrapped up, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll took the time to speak with his team, where he said that all of the hard work and preparation that they put into the season was finally paying off, because the team did everything exactly like they had hoped for.

“We’ve done everything the way we wanted to get it done,” Carroll told his team. “I’m so proud that we are able to stand together right here at this moment.”

Seattle may have been the younger team on Sunday night, but they were the team that was able to execute their strategy, force the opponent to make mistakes, and take care of the football.

That is the recipe to success and the Seahawks executed to perfection.
