The Mack Brown era in Austin and it’s now time to begin the Charlie Strong era for the Texas Longhorns. One of the attributes that Strong brings to the table to the most illustrious program in college football is his ability to recruit the right pieces for the right positions. That’s what made his so successful at Louisville, and he hopes to utilize that once again in bringing the Longhorns to prominence.

According to 247 Sports, Texas currently has the 12th-ranked recruiting class in the nation, with three players already enrolled in classes and 18 hard commits.

With the stature of the job he now holds, this first recruiting class for Strong is a crucial one, as it could set the tone for his tenure.
