One of the deepest positions in fantasy baseball is first base, but having the right bat at 1B can help propel your team to the title.  Positional scarcity doesn’t really apply since there are lots of good options, but there’s no excuse for not getting production from a position with so many options.

Over the last month, we’ve started our 2014 fantasy baseball preview looking at some position previews starting with catcher and 1B.  Last Saturday, we looked at the AL and in this post we’ll take a look at National League first basemen on a team-by-team basis looking at who played the position for each time last season, who is projected to play the position this season, and what fantasy value each team’s option presents.

There are some big names in the NL at First Base as well as some nice sleepers that can help you out if you wait until late in the draft to fill the position or are looking for a utility option who can also serve as backup.
