A few days ago, free agent pitcher Bronson Arroyo expresses confusion in regards to his lack of a job.
That may be coming to an end in the next few days as multiple teams have expressed interest in signing the veteran.
One such team are the Los Angeles Dodgers who originally expressed interest in Arroyo when free agency began, but backed off to patch other holes on their roster. But with Arroyo still sitting in free agency, the Dodgers are said to be in talks with the 37-year-old arm.
Sources: Dodgers remain in active talks with free agent starter Bronson Arroyo.
Reports leaked last week that the Dodgers were ‘very interested’ in signing Arroyo, who would be a wonderful addition to an already talented Dodgers pitching staff.
It’s not known what type of contract the Dodgers would be offering Arroyo, though the former Cincinnati Reds pitcher has been in the market for a three-year deal.
Arroyo would likely fill in as the Dodgers fifth starter if a deal was to be completed.
