Penn State Football Recruiting Signing Day Predictions for the Class of 2014

The Penn State Nittany Lions have a new head coach in James Franklin beginning in the 2014 season following the departure of Bill O’Brien to the NFL, and if there is one thing that he has been known for, it’s recruiting.

Franklin built the Vanderbilt Commodores into an unlikely contender in the mighty SEC through his recruiting efforts, and now he will look to do the same in the Big Ten with the Nittany Lions against the likes of Ohio State’s Urban Meyer and Michigan’s Brady Hoke.

Only being on the job for a few weeks so far, Franklin hasn’t had the chance to go through a full recruiting period with his new team, but he’s done a great job thus far helping maintain a class for 2014 that ranks 20th in the country according to Rivals.
