Billy Beane is adding to his outfield depth.

Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports that Sam Fuld has signed a minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics with an invite to Spring Training. The deal is reportedly worth $800,000 with an additional $100,000 depending on games played. It also includes opt-outs at the end of Spring Training and on June 1st if he’s not on the Major League roster.

Fuld, who will be going into his age-32 season, has spent the previous three seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays spending time at all three outfield positions. He played a career high 119 games in 2013, but only hit .199/.270/.267. He earned $725,000 last season.
