While the Seattle Seahawks were absolutely dominating the Denver Broncos in every facet of the game on their way to a 43-8 victory on Sunday, Denver Broncos’ wide receiver Wes Welker tried to get his team back on the right track.

Welker was mic’d up during the game and was caught yelling at his teammates.

“Hey! We’re the best damn offense to ever play this game,” Welker said via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. “We’ve got to start showing it.”

Welker knows just how difficult getting to the Super Bowl is and knows with an aging Peyton Manning (and Welker is 32 himself), there may not be many more chances.

Also as far as offense goes, that is high praise. Welker has played on three of the four highest scoring offenses of all time (1. 2013 Denver 606 points, 2. 2007 New England Patriots 589 points, 4. 2012 New England Patriots 557 points).

Welker has now been to three Super Bowl (he went in 2007 and 2001 with the Patriots) and has come up empty all three times.
