Pitchers and catchers are to report to Spring Training complexes anytime between now and the next few days (depending on the organization). Many non pitchers and catchers also report early (or do so in the coming days), and I’m pretty sure the vast majority of Boston Red Sox players are happy to be in Florida right now given what’s going on at Fenway Park.

As the East Coast deals with yet another near-blizzard, Fenway Park is blanketed in snow as the organization begins loading the moving trucks en route to sunny Florida.

Red Sox COO Sam Kennedy has been on Twitter for a little while, but hasn’t posted much – only sending a handful of tweets before logging on this morning. Kennedy seemingly had a few hours to waste as he interacted with a few fans and also tweeted the picture below which shows the iconic ballpark covered in white stuff.

It’s not exactly ‘special’ to see Fenway covered in snow since it happens every Winter, but it’s not often we get a photo of it – let alone one like Kennedy tweeted.
