Florida State Seminoles’ head coach Jimbo Fisher had a press conference to address the prospects his program signed on National Signing Day Wednesday.
While he was discussing another top-five recruiting class, he casually let it slide out that he did not believe quarterback Jameis Winston would leave after next season.
Fisher just said he thinks Jameis Winston will be at FSU for more than one more year. “I think it’ll be two.” #nsd2014

Winston will be a redshirt sophomore, meaning he can leave following the 2014 season. There have been a lot of rumors that Winston is planning to stay for two more seasons, much like former Stanford Cardinal quarterback Andrew Luck did, but this is the first time it’s come from someone like Fisher himself.
Wintson took home almost every award imaginable, including the Heisman Trophy and led the Seminoles to the BCS National Championship.
He completed 257 of 384 passes for 4,057 yards with 40 touchdowns through the air, four on the ground and 10 interceptions.
