The defending national champion Florida State Seminoles kept the ball rolling on National Signing Day on Wednesday as they grabbed themselves one of the top wide receivers in the country in five-star prospect, Ermon Lane.

Lane had been committed to the Florida Gators for quite some time, but he de-committed last month and the word since then was that he would be heading to Tallahassee, which ultimately was the case on Wednesday.

The Miami Hurricanes had tried to make a run at Lane, as well as the Gators trying to get him back, but it was to no avail as Jameis Winston and the Seminoles will now be in possession of one of the best wideouts the nation has to offer.

He’s a big target at 6-3 and comes in at around 193-pounds and is one of the most versatile playmakers that the country has to offer. With the departures of some key receivers from Florida State including Kelvin Benjamin and Kenny Shaw, there is a chance that Lane could have a chance to show his talents off early in Tallahassee.
