Five-star wide receiver Malachi Dupre, considered the top wide receiving prospect in the country, officially made his announcement on Wednesday live on national television, and he will be attending LSU to play for Les Miles and the Tigers.
This was a move that has been expected for quite some time for the LSU native, although it wasn’t without some doubts recently. Dupre visited Florida State last week and spent some time with Heisman-winning QB Jameis Winston, leading some to believe that a change might indeed be in order.
However, as we found out just now, that won’t be the case as he’ll be headed to Baton Rouge.
For Miles and the LSU coaching staff, this is their second huge offensive grab in the recruiment fting process, as they already have a commitment from the top running back in the nation in Leonard Fournette.
LSU just gained themselves some serious power on offense, and he will more than likely have the chance to contribute early, with the losses of Odell Becham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.
