Andrew Williams (Mcdonough, Ga. Eagle’s Landing Christian) has committed to the Auburn Tigers giving Auburn their second four-star recruit on national signing day and being the final piece to the puzzle on an eventful day.

The Georgia Bulldogs, Clemson Tigers and Auburn were the three finalists for Williams after he took official visits to each of the three universities in the final three weekends in January.

Williams is the nation’s No. 231 overall recruit, No. 12 weakside defensive end and the No. 25 recruit in the talent-rich state of Georgia and is a nice addition after losing out on No. 1 OLB Rashaan Evans earlier in the day.

The 6-4, 247-pound edge rusher has made a habit of living in opposing team’s backfield as he has racked up a number of tackles for loss and quarterback sacks. He has the frame to develop into a prototypical right end and line up over the left tackle and beat him with his combination of hand quickness, athleticism and an improving first step.
