Last year, highly recruited cornerback Jabrill Peppers had given the Michigan Wolverines a verbal commitment and he stuck by his word on National Signing Day.
Peppers faxed in his National Letter of Intent shortly after 8 a.m. ET to give Michigan their highest rated player since the introduction of the Rivals.com ranking system back in 2002.
The Michigan coaching staff is excited about the addition of Peppers to the Wolverine family, and for very good reason.
“We are so excited about Jabrill and what he brings to this defense,” Wolverines defensive coordinator Greg Mattison told the school’s official website. “When you have a corner (like that) we can really come and bring the pressure packages we want.
“The size, the speed, the competitiveness… he’s got the whole package.”
