NBA Rumors: Houston Rockets interested in Thaddeus Young trade

The Houston Rockets have been looking to acquire a swingman all season – that list reportedly includes Thaddeus Young, who depending on who you believe, could be traded by the Philadelphia 76ers in the coming weeks.

Young reportedly made a ‘soft’ trade request earlier in the year, though in fairness has been relatively professional and continued to play hard for a struggling team.

Some reports have linked the Sixers to inevitably moving Young before the upcoming NBA trade deadline while others have hinted Philadelphia will hang on to their defensive minded wing.

Whatever decision they make, it’s likely the Houston Rockets will be in on it as Basketball Insiders says the Rockets have been interested in acquiring him all season.

Thaddeus Young has been a target of the Houston Rockets all year.

Philly reportedly has set a pretty high asking price on a Young trade, though, prices have been known to adjust as the deadline nears.

The 25-year-old doesn’t fit the perimeter game the Rockets are looking for, but does bring a much needed defensive skill set.
