We’re just days from the NBA’s All-Star break and the Indiana Pacers continue to hold their lead as the best team in the NBA, at least statistically.

But with the trade deadline lurking around the corner, even the best have room for improvement as according to Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, the Pacers are looking to trade for a bench scorer.

Also hearing, which is scary, the Pacers want to make another move to bolster their bench by acquiring a scorer.

The Pacers were oddly linked to Kyle Lowry a few weeks back, but the Toronto Raptors still appear to be undecided on if they are going to trade the veteran point guard and he’d likely cost more than the Pacers would be open to paying.

Indiana does have potential chips to move, so it’s entirely possible something could be done in the next few weeks, though who exactly they’re targeting is unknown.

Already an elite defensive squad, improving the Pacers league average scoring offense would be quite a move.
