It appears eight Major League Baseball teams will be getting new hats this season as New Era released the look of some new alternate batting practice caps.

Included in the list are the Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.

Some of the looks are similar to what we’ve seen before, like the San Diego Padres who simply had the colors of their 2013 batting practice hat reversed. Others like the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers have extremely minimal changes (like the removal of the Texas state flag on the Rangers lid) while some like the Blue Jays, Pirates and White Sox are new all together (in some capacity).

Personally, I’m a big fan of the White Sox and Pirates hats as I’ve always enjoyed the retro look, though the Blue Jays is nice as well.

The caps will feature the same DiamondEra technology that New Era debuted to start the 2013 Major League season.
