Respawn Entertainment is set to release their inaugural game, Titanfall on Xbox One and PC on March 11, but EA has announced on Twitter that the Xbox 360 version of the game, with the porting responsibility being handled by Bluepoint, will be held back two weeks until March 25.

“To give developer Bluepoint the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe,” EA’s Patrick Soderland said in a statement. “The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience.
This might feel like dagger to the hearts of Xbox 360 owners, as they were expecting to play the game on March 11 and now will have to wait an extra two weeks to play the game.
However, if a developer needs a little extra time to put the finishing touches on a game it will be worth it in the long-run. I would rather wait to play a game and see it run smooth, than to play a game and have a sub-par experience.
