LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose top NBA shoe sales

We all know who has the best selling jersey in the NBA – but what about shoes? Same guy? Of course.

Miami Heat superstar LeBron James is a marketing machine and that extends to his kicks as Nike reportedly sold over $300 million dollars worth of James’ signatures shoes last year. Keep in mind, that’s just the shoe sales from United States retail store. That doesn’t include any other type of clothing article with James’ likeness or shoes outside of the country.

Nike allegeldy pays Lebron around $20 million dollars per season, this according to Forbes.com.

Ranking behind James is Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant who had sales jump 400% from last year, selling $175 million dollars of his signature sneaker. He reportedly sold $35 million dollars worth last year.

Placing behind both James and Durant is Kobe Bryant. The face of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise brought in $50 million while former Chicago Bulls MVP Derrick Rose capped the top four at $40 million dollars.

Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul each sold $30 million dollars worth of shoes respectively while Dwight Howard and John Wall came in below them at $5 million each.
