After competing in Jungle Fights back in September, Invicta FC champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino will be making a muay thai return next month where she will be fighting for the promotion’s women’s welterweight title against Jorina Baars at Lion Fight 14.
“We are excited to have ‘Cyborg’ back with us March 28 for Lion Fight 14 in Las Vegas,” Lion Fight CEO Scott Kent said in a statement, via MMAFighting.com.
“In her last fight, Cyborg absolutely dominated French muay Thai champion Jennifer Colomb, leaving no question that she is a legitimate two-sport athlete who can win impressively in both MMA and muay Thai. She also showed she is an aggressive fighter who has the power and pace to finish fights. I think she won over a lot of new fight fans in our ring, and they can’t wait to see her in action again.”
Lion Fight 14 takes place March 28 at The Joint inside of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
The main card of the event will be airing live on AXS TV.
