Miami Heat at Utah Jazz final score: Utah beats Miami 94-89
The Utah Jazz defeated the Miami Heat 94-89 at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Jazz improved to 17-33, and the Heat fell to 35-14.
Utah led the entire fourth quarter, but Ray Allen hit a three to make it a two point game with 46 seconds to go. Rookie Trey Burke answered with a two-point jumper to give Utah a four point lead with 24.2 seconds left.
Allen missed a three and Dwyane Wade missed a contested layup during the Heat’s next possession, and the Jazz upset the Heat 94-89.
Utah top performers: Marvin Williams scored 23 points and grabbed three rebounds. Richard Jefferson netted 14 points and collected four rebounds. Trey Burke had 13 points and three assists. Alec Burks finished with 12 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Miami top performers: Dwyane Wade scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two assists. LeBron James netted 13 points, collected seven rebounds, and dished out five assists. Chris Bosh had 13 points and seven rebounds. Mario Chalmers added 12 points and seven assists, and Norris Cole finished with 12 points.
Next game: Utah heads to LA to play the Lakers on Tuesday at 10:30 pm ET. Miami heads to Phoenix to play the Suns on Tuesday at 9 pm ET.
