It’s been an eventful few days at Pebble Beach.

Currently hosting their annual Pro-Am, Carmel native and legendary actor Clint Eastwood decided he would save the life of the tournament director on Thursday and now Mother Nature has decided to join in on the odd festivities.

The Pro-Am is often greeted by sunny California skies, but not this year as rain and wind have battered the course. Things have become so bad, officials decided to suspend play due to the heavy winds.

I’m pretty sure the kid below, holding the moving scoreboard, wished they would have done so sooner.

Standing on the rain soaked turf, the volunteer had his portable sign blow back right at him thanks to the swirling winds, smacking him directly in his face.

Thankfully he didn’t appear to be too worse for the cause considering he gave a smile (likely out of embarrassment) at the end, but a pretty funny moment overall.

The Pro-Am is one of the most watched golf tournaments of the year given the high profile athletes and celebrities that often participate, so, don’t worry – nobody was watching, kid.
