Jose Lobaton expected in camp for Rays

If Jose Lobaton is getting traded, he and his agent sure haven’t heard anything about it.

Chris Cotillo has heard from the catcher’s agent, Rafael Perez, and Perez has said that he knows about the rumors surrounding his client, the 29-year-old Lobaton.

Lobaton had been viewed as expendable after the acquisition of Ryan Hanigan from the Cincinnati Reds. With he and Jose Molina figuring to see most of the time behind the dish, Lobaton had been linked to the Rockies, Nationals, and Padres in trade rumors.
