The Mississippi State Bulldogs picked up a couple of commitments for the class of 2015 over the weekend.
On Saturday, 3-star running back Kentavious Thomas gave his pledge to Dan Mullen’s Bulldogs.
“It just looks like home and I had a great feel on their campus,” Thomas told Paul Jones of 24/7 Sports. “I love those jerseys. I also like how they are with academics and their academic programs. And I was amazed with the facilities and that was impressive to see. I can just see myself running the ball in the new stadium.”
The 5’11, 205-pounder from Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, Georgia is considered the 46th best running back and 496th best overall prospect in the class of 2015, according to 24/7 Sports’ composite rankings.
Later in the day, safety Armani Linton committed to the Bulldogs.
Linton is a local product from Walnut High School in Waltnut, Mississippi.
“When I got the offer, it was pretty much overwhelming to me,” Linton said. “It was something I’ve been waiting on since I was a little kid. Once I got the offer, I processed it in my mind and it went through my mine. Then I left the roomed and talked with some people and came back five minutes later and committed.”
The 6’3, 195-pounder has not been ranked yet.
