The New Orleans Pelicans believed their road to success was to amass a collection of players difficult to guard.

That’s one of the reasons they traded for former Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans this past season, but that collection of talent has yet to mesh well and that has lead to the Pelicans being one of the most active teams in the trade market, this according to RealGM.

"Ahead of the NBA trade deadline, few teams have been as active in talks as the New Orleans Pelicans."

New Orleans is reportedly very open to moving Eric Gordon and his $14 million dollar salary (good luck) but they’re also open to trading other players, like the aforementioned Evans.

It’s not known what they’re looking for in return for either player, but it’s clear the collection of talent they have does not fit well together. On the plus side, the names they’re dangling in the trade market do have some value so they should be able to build around Anthony Davis.
