The Detroit Pistons are looking for a new head coach after parting ways with Mo Cheeks. That has them looking for a new head coach and a group of Pistons fans have started a petition with the White House to make Rasheed Wallace their head coach.

From the official White House petition:

WE PETITION THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TO: have Rasheed Wallace become the interim head coach of the Detroit Pistons. We need to have Rasheed Wallace as interim head coach of the Detroit Pistons.

Of course the white house would require 100,000 signatures to address it formally, and as of now they have 36 signatures. That means they need 99,964 other people to sign, and even if they got them it doesn’t mean it would happen. The White House would just have to waste time throwing together a pointless response.

Meanwhile the Pistons have formally announced the firing.
