As we speak, Norway currently holds the most Olympic medals in Sochi with six. That’s obviously subject (and likely) to change in the coming days, but for now, Norway can stake their claim as top dog at the Olympic games.

In second place is Team USA, who proudly waives their Canadian flag. Wait – what?

Yep – it seems as if an intern at an ABC news affiliate is having a bit of a struggle with geography this morning as they messed up the Olympic medal count in epically bad fashion.

While Austria and Norway appear just fine, it seems as if there was a slight bit of confusion when it came to Netherlands, Canada and the United States.

Now – I can see an intern making a mistake on a country they weren’t familiar with given the deadlines and the rush to get content produced. But how do you miss Canada? And even worse, how do you miss the United States?

Even worse? How did the producer miss that?
