If you haven’t been paying attention to the 2014 Winter Olympics or 15-year-old Russian sensation Yulia Lipnitskaya, it is time to start doing so. Lipnitskaya has been flawless for the Russian team in the Team Figure Skating competition, finishing in first place in both the ladies short program and ladies free skate.

Everyone was talking about Lipnitskaya’s short routine on Saturday, but she followed that up on Sunday with another nearly perfect routine that landed her a score of 141.51 — which was nearly twenty points more than second-place finisher Gracie Gold of the United States.

Lipnitskaya is generating so much attention, that even Vladimir Putin showed up to watch the final day of the Team Figure Skating competition on Saturday.

There is still one event remaining in the Team Figure Skating competition — the ice dancing free skate — but Russia has already clinched the gold thanks to the brilliance from Lipnitskaya and Evgeny Plyushchenko on the men’s side.
