Captain America: The Winter Soldier – New Character Poster Gives Us a Look at Alexander Pierce


As I mentioned earlier, we are just under two months away from the release of the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Earlier today, we showed you the latest TV Spot for the film. Now, thanks to the good people at Marvel, we have a look at a brand new character poster from the film.

Just in case you’re not caught up to where we are in the story, here is a quick look at the synopsis for Captain America: The Winter Soldier courtesy of IMDb.com.

The newest character poster gives us a closer look a character by the name of Alexander Pierce, who is played in the film by Robert Redford.

The film is being directed by brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Marvel has already taken the leap of faith and brought on the brothers to direct the eventual third installment of the Captain America franchise.

The film brings together the cast of the original film. Chris Evans will be reprising his role as the patriotic superhero. The film also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Cobie Smulders, Hayley Atwell, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dominic Cooper.

Joining the cast of characters will be Emily Van Camp, who plays Agent 13, Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce, Frank Grillo as Brock Rumlow a.k.a. Crossbones, and Anthony Mackie who portrays Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and in Conventional Theaters on April 4, 2014.
