Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is currently serving a three-game suspension in La Liga, but that won’t affect his team’s Copa del Rey semifinal second leg at Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. Ronaldo’s suspension does not include Copa games.

“Cristiano likes to play all the games,” Carlo Ancelotti said, via ESPN FC. “I do not think he has more hunger for this game than any other. We hope our appeal is good and he can play the upcoming games in La Liga.”

Real Madrid takes a 3-0 lead into the second leg.

“We have an important advantage, but to avoid problems we need to show the same attitude and intensity as in the first leg,” he said.

“A really important moment of the season is arriving. This last period was important for us, to catch up with Atletico and Barca. We want to play this competition the same as all the others. Our aim is to play the final, and we will do our best tomorrow.”
