When you’re LeBron James in the midst of a 82-game season, things can get pretty boring – especially on the practice court.
So what’s a man to do to pass the time? Put on an insane dunk contest for your teammates and the media.
That’s exactly what James did when in town to play the Phoenix Suns and the results, well, they were quite impressive.
Channeling his inner 1990′s McDonalds commercial, the reigning NBA MVP began throwing the ball off any objects he could find – from cement pillars to walls.
James was even impressed with some of the dunks himself, watching them back on recorded cell phone footage with teammates.
Seriously – what a shame it is that James won’t participate in the dunk contest. It’s such a failing competition and James (among others) could easily give it the success it once had when it was Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins putting on classic shows for NBA fans. Especially given this was just James fooling around, not putting much effort into things.
