The Boston Celtics have a handful of players who’ll likely be changing zip codes come the NBA’s trade deadline, a list that likely includes Brandon Bass.
The veteran power forward, who is due just under $7 million dollars next season is reportedly available and multiple teams are said to be showing interest in the former LSU talent.
According to Sean Deveney of SportingNews, the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Bobcats have all expressed interest in the Celtics forward.
But Bass’ manageable contract and ability to chip in for a contender makes him the most likely Celtic to be shipped out by next Thursday, and the group of teams that has expressed interest in Bass is, “a pretty wide range,” according to a league source.
Deveney breaks down the interested teams in the piece and suggests what type of deals could be constructed, but the Suns, Warriors and Bobcats get the most play in the piece.
Bass is currently averaging nearly 11 points and 6 rebounds in 27 minutes a game for the Celtics.
