Washington State Cougars wide receiver Gabe Marks arrested

According to a report in The Spokesman-Review, Washington State Cougars wide receiver Gabe Marks was arrested early Saturday morning.

Marks was cited with four different misdemeanors.

The Pullman Police Department said officers went to the bar Stubblefields around 2:00 a.m. in response to a call claiming a patron had assaulted one of the bar’s employees. According to Sgt. Dan Dornes, the police arrived to find the 19-year-old Marks drunk and restrained by a group of employees:

He was in a dispute with another patron and they were asking him to leave the premises, and they were escorting him to leave the premises. During that time he punched one of the employees, which was a 34-year-old male and so they held him there.

The Cougars have not released an official statement about the situation.

As a sophomore last season, Mark caught 74 passes for 807 yards and seven touchdowns.
