The Sacramento Kings made their big splash early in the season when they acquired small forward Rudy Gay from the Toronto Raptors. Although the Kings continue to struggle, Gay has been much more efficient and a flat out better play since arriving in Sacramento.
Although the Kings do not want to part with a draft pick, they are still in the hunt to add another player to their roster.
Regarding Kings and trades, they struck early, still open to making a deal, especially for another PG, but only at right price.

New York Knicks‘ point guard Beno Udrih is one player who could possibly be had at a reasonable right, but the Knicks, who are without future picks, are a financial mess in terms of the salary cap and need to re-sign forward Carmelo Anthony, may trade Udrih in an attempt to dump other salary.
Either way, the Kings probably won’t be very active, outside of a relatively minor deal.
