Texas A&M Aggies star quarterback Johnny Manziel is one of the most highly discussed draft prospects in the 2014 draft class, and there are no signs of that changing as draft season gets into full swing.
Recently, there have been rumblings that Manziel could be the potential No. 1 overall pick for the Houston Texans, but NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline isn’t buying into that hype.
In fact, Pauline says there is “no justification” for selecting Manziel with the top pick and that is without even taking Manziel’s off-field antics into consideration.
Broke down a dozen TAMU games & can say I see no justification for taking Johnny Manziel w/1st pick; too many floaters, forced passes, etc

Manziel will likely be a top 10 selection because some team will fall in love with his athleticism and impromptu play-making ability, but his lack of size and poor decision making at times should make any team weary of selecting him near the top of the draft.
Add in the fact that you should be able to trust the face of your franchise to act like a professional off the field, and it could be hard to convince any NFL team that he should be the first-overall selection in the 2014 NFL Draft.
