Free agent linebacker Karlos Dansby knows he’ll be able to cash-in this offseason after putting up an All-Pro year in 2013. But, he’d like to stay with the Arizona Cardinals and will be open to giving them a hometown discount if the feeling is mutual.

"“I definitely expect to be an Arizona Cardinal next year,” Dansby said during an interview on Sirius XM NFL radio Monday night. “We don’t have long here (before free agency) so we’ll get to talking and try and hammer something out.”"

Dansby made the monetary suggestions in the radio interview.

The 32-year-old only made $2.25 million dollars this past season and understandably wants to increase that dollar amount moving forward.

He shouldn’t have much problem doing that considering he’s one of the top inside linebackers available in free agency with only Donald Butler giving him a run for his money.

Given everything we’ve heard from both the player and the team, it seems as if Dansby will be returning to the Arizona Cardinals next season.
