The inaugural ladies ski slopestyle event at the 2014 Winter Olympics is in the books and it was the United States and Canada’s show. Team USA had swept slopestyle gold in the snowboarding events, but they fell just short to Canada on the skiing side.

It was Canada’s Dara Howell who was able to stake her claim to the gold, while U.S. freestyle skier Devin Logan took home the silver and Kim Lamarre added to the medal count of Canada with a bronze.

Canada now has a firm lead in the overall medal count with nine overall.
