An action packed Day 5 of the 2014 Winter Olympics is ahead, with six medal events on the calendar. Wednesday will also include the debut of the men’s hockey tournament in Sochi and the highly anticipated clash between the United States and Canada in women’s hockey.

On the slopes, Team USA’s snowboarding team will be looking for redemption after being shut out of the medal race in the men’s halfpipe when the ladies make their drops.

We’ve also got the continuation of the round robin curling tournament and pairs figure skating finals, so today is shaping up to be a great day that could have a huge impact on the overall medal count.

You can follow along with the medal count below, as we update it throughout the day.

Your medal count is wrong. Germany is leading the medal count as they have more gold medals.
It’s the amount of gold medals that is most important, followed by the amount of silver medals, followed by the amount of bronze medals.
