Assuming everything goes well with Peyton Manning‘s offseason neck test, the iconic quarterback will be playing football again in 2014. But when the time comes for Peyton to hang up the cleats, he’ll likely have a front office job awaiting him in Cleveland.
Yep, according to Mary Kay Kabot, it’s believed Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam will offer the CEO role to Manning once his playing days come to a conclusion.
Haslam currently has no CEO in the front office. My guess is that he’ll offer that job to Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning someday. He loves Manning, they’re great friends, and he’s watched what John Elway has done in running the Broncos. Manning will play at least one more season to break Brett Favre’s record for TD passes, but might be lured into a CEO role after that.
It’s not the first time Haslem and Manning have been linked together as some believed (in the past) Haslmen would purchase the Tennessee Titans and hire Manning, both being University of Tennessee alumni.
