Sochi Olympic hockey, Finland vs. Austria: live stream, start time, TV info and more

Finland and Austria will kick off their preliminary rounds for the 2014 Winter Olympics men’s ice hockey tournament in what should be an interesting game between two teams with several NHL stars. Teemu Selanne is the main attraction for the Finns, as he represents the nation for a whopping sixth Olympics this time around, but there are a variety of other pro players involved in this contest.

Austria isn’t known as an international superpower by any means—and features only three NHL players—but they earned the right to play in these Winter Olympics and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Date: February 13
Start Time: 3 A.M. ET
Location: Sochi, Russia
Live Stream: NBC Olympics Live Extra

Group B isn’t going to be a cake walk for either of these two teams, and grabbing three big points in the opening matchup here could be the difference for a first-round bye once the quarterfinals roll around. Canada would be favored over either of these teams, while Austria’s game against Norway during the round robin will be interesting to say the least.
