Sochi Olympics: Russia destroying Texas Longhorns in figure skating

Sure, the Texas Longhorns are among the NCAA’s elite when it comes to basketball and football. But what about figure skating? Unfortunately, the Longhorns don’t have such a storied history when it comes the art of ice dancing and it’s showing in their score against Russia at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

What? You didn’t know Texas had a figure skating team?

Okay, okay, the Longhorns didn’t send a figure skating team to Sochi – because they don’t have one, but you wouldn’t know that by looking at the ESPN scoreboard app.

According to the Worldwide Leader, currently Russia is destroying the Longhorns by a score of 152.69 to 87.

That’s a pretty odd mistake considering Texas has absolutely nothing to do with the Olympics. Sure, accidentally place the wrong country flag – I can see that. Maybe even mess up on naming the incorrect country. But posting the Texas Longhorns logo? And then having the team name too? Whoops.

Wonder how the Oklahoma Sooners are doing against Japan?
