We’re used to seeing the lugers fly through turns and down the track at the Winter Olympics, but not many of us get to experience that first person. Now, thanks to United States Olympic luger Chris Mazdzer, we get that experience.

Mazdzer posted some really cool video of the luge track in Sochi from his perspective. It is like the numerous “GoPro” videos you see, though he doesn’t specify that this was filmed with a GoPro camera.

Mazdzer wrote in the about section of the video’s YouTube page:

"High Quality video taken POV style of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Combine Track on a luge sled from the top. The run is 1700+ meters long and can reach speeds in excess of 80 mph. The athlete taking the video is Chris Mazdzer from the United States."
