It looked as if it was all over. The Syracuse Orange’s dreams of an unbeaten regular season would die a painful death on Feb. 12 on the road against the Pittsburgh Panthers.

Down 56-55 with time running down on the clock after the Panthers had converted on two free throws, the top-ranked team in the country needed a miracle.

And, they got one…

They were able to get it from freshman Tyler Ennis to make sure that those undefeated dreams would not die on this night, and now the Orange are still in position to finish their first year as a member of the ACC unblemished.

It wasn’t easy. There were definitely some issues that Pitt were able to take advantage of, including the offensive glass.

But, once again, the stud freshman Ennis showed up to show that he’s one of the best players in the nation, and it paid huge dividends on Wednesday night in Pittsburgh.
