Day 6 of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi is in the books, which means we can now take a look at the total medal count to see how everything stands nearly one week into the world’s biggest event.
Without providing spoilers (you can watch every event from today here), Norway was able to hang on to their lead in the overall medal count, while the United States creeped into the third-place position following a strong showing on Day 6.
Germany continues to lead the gold medal count with 7, while host nation Russia has the most silver medals (5) and the U.S. has claimed the most bronze medals (6).
