David Price tells fans to draft Yu Darvish over him in fantasy baseball

Pitchers and catchers have already reported at most camps with position players on the way in the next few days.

And with the start of spring training comes the beginning of fantasy baseball.

Some diehards have already started drafting their teams, but one fan needed to know what to do with his draft pick. Stuck on the idea of either drafting David Price or Yu Darvish, the fan went to the source himself and asked the Tampa Bay Rays ace who he should draft.

Price didn’t hesitate in his answer, telling the Twitter fan to draft the Texas Rangers star over himself.

Yu…he k’s 498 people a year! RT @IraKates: @DAVIDprice14 Trying to make a decision in my keeper league. You or Yu Darvish for the SP slot?

While it’s a nice sentiment on Price’s part, there’s really little reason anybody would select the Tampa Bay starter over Darvish given their numbers.

For what it’s worth, FantasyPros.com currently lists Price as the 11th best starting pitcher. Darvish ranks second behind Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
