The injury news just keeps coming for the UFC. This time, Ian McCall is injured and forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Brad Pickett at UFC Fight Night 37 in London. There is no word yet on who will replace McCall, or if the bout will be scrapped altogether.
Mike Chiappetta of FOX Sports tweeted the news just moments ago:
Ian McCall is out of his March 8 fight with Brad Pickett, Dana White confirms. Rumors had been circulating about a McCall injury. Bad break.

This is the second injury in a row for McCall, as his UFC on FOX 9 bout against Scott Jorgensen never occurred due to a broken hand. Two fights prior, he was set to face John Moraga at UFC on FOX 4, but was injured prior to that bout as well.
This is a huge blow for the UFC as this bout had fireworks written all over it. This was set to be Pickett’s first fight at Flyweight, but now he has no opponent. Pickett, who has fought at Bantamweight for the majority of his career, is currently the only UFC Flyweight to have defeated the champion, Demetrious Johnson, previously. Back at WEC 48, Pickett defeated Johnson by unanimous decision in a Bantamweight bout.
