The Chicago Bulls have been receiving plenty of phone calls from interested teams around the league, but Vice President John Paxson says don’t expect much from the Bulls come the upcoming NBA trade deadline.

Mike Dunleavy, Carlos Boozer and Kirk Hinrich have all been mentioned as potential trade candidates – and some teams like the Lakers and Wizards are said to have made formal offers for power forward Taj Gibson.

But it doesn’t appear the Bulls are willing to sell.

With the NBA trade deadline a week away, Bulls vice president of basketball operations John Paxson said Wednesday that he didn’t foresee the team being active.

“You have to put yourself in the other team’s position,’’ Paxson said. “People just don’t give up great players. We obviously talk and keep our eyes and ears open. But to anticipate something is going to happen, I don’t think that’s likely, to be honest with you.’’

It’s a bit difficult to see the Bulls not moving Dunleavy, Boozer or Hinrich if they’re presented with a good offer, but such an offer may not be out there.
