Odds are your average hockey fan can name 15 players from Canada’s ice hockey roster before they can name anyone from Norway.
That isn’t to say that the latter hasn’t started to string together some strong showings in international play—just qualifying for the Olympics two consecutive times should be considered an accomplishment for the underdog nation—yet Canada is among the favorites to win the Gold Medal this year and every other year, and it’d take a small miracle for Norway to prevail.
Could Mats Zuccarello score five goals and lead his team to victory? Perhaps, but it’s much more likely that we’ll see a convincing win for the defending Gold medalists in this contest. Canada is just too loaded at every position, even without Steven Stamkos. Whenever you can insert the reigning Art Ross trophy into the lineup as an injury replacement, you know you’re stacked.
That’s what Norway has to contend with. If you’re looking to catch the game, here’s how.
Date: February 13
Start Time: 12 P.M. ET
Location: Sochi, Russia

This will be the last game of the day, and it will be interesting to see what the turnout is like considering the Russian team will be playing several hours prior to the Canadians.
